About Us
Raise Up Hawaiʻi
In 2026, the Hawaiʻi minimum wage will increase to $16 an hour. That translates to just over $33,000 per year for full-time work, well below the amount needed for many working families in Hawaiʻi to cover the high cost of living without working multiple jobs.
Raising the minimum wage to a livable level—a Living Wage—would give Hawaiʻi’s consumer economy a massive boost while giving Hawaiʻi’s working families the financial opportunity to thrive here in our island home. A Living Wage would rebuild the bridge from working class to middle class that is the hallmark of the American Dream.
Raise Up Hawaiʻi is made up of businesses, nonprofits, unions and other organizations that are committed to realizing a livable wage for all Hawaiʻi workers.
